Ava Gallo Charleston

Ava has had a passion for cheerleading since she stepped on the sideline for the first time at age 4. Ava continued to do sideline cheer from elementary to high school and cheered competitively for Cheer Athletics and her high school competition team. She was captain in both middle and high school, reaffirming that leading in cheer was something she was passionate about. She has coached private lessons for middle and high school tryouts since age 15, and has worked for CheerWorks for three years now. Ava is a Clemson University senior but returns to her hometown in Charleston for the summers. She is so excited to be back for this summer’s camps and see the confidence cheerleading gives our campers!


Audrey Kellan- Charleston

With a passion for cheer & dance, Audrey has loved coaching and instilling this joy in such a fun group of young girls here in Charleston! Audrey was a cheerleader in high school and was apart of the Nationals Competition team from ages 12-18 back in Virginia where she is originally from.  Additionally, Audrey coached for Velocity Cheerleading for 3 years where she worked with middle school teams to build their skills for high school tryouts. Audrey attended Clemson University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing and Minor in Communications. After graduation she moved to Charleston to start her career and build a great community in adult life. Audrey cannot wait to work with more of our cheerleaders to form a fun, interactive, and energetic atmosphere!

Kim DeBaro-Charleston

Kim started cheerleading in kindergarten. She was a part of Pop Warner, her high school team as well as  All-Star Cheer ending at World Cup All-Stars on Odyssey and Shooting Stars. She won many national titles and a World Title. She cheered in college at the University of Louisville where she was a multi time NCA National Champion and also was on Gymtyme All Stars, winning many more national and World titles. She also coached Pop Warner and an elementary team!

Kora Cruz- Charleston

Kora was a cheerleader all four years in highschool, but her love for the sport started at age 11 when she re-enrolled into tumbling classes. As she got older she began teaching mini cheer and tumbling classes at her local gym back home in Illinois. She continued to coach when she was away at college. Kora graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Interior Design. She moved to Charleston recently to find a great tight-knit community for this next chapter in her life. She enjoys working with kids of all ages and creating a fun atmosphere that they can thrive in!
